SMS Setup not enabling

I'm trying to set up SMS as a sole user of my account.

 

I keep getting this message: {"description":"Mobile Phone Number not supported. Must be a Mobile Phone Number that can receive SMS messages.","code":551,"fields":["mobilePhone"]}"

I have enabled SMS under Account Management. However, when I go to enable it under Phone System Management I get a message telling me that this service is for plan users only.

 

But I am plan user and I'm signed it! How can I fix this so that I can finally get my Brand Name accepted and move forward??

hi @sgMay 

 

Select a user with a direct inward dial telephone number.  Check to make sure that zoom phone access such as desktop, mobile, web app are enabled for sms and that sms for the user is also enabled.

Hi,

I've fixed it. This wasn't the solution as I'd already done this before as per my message above. I actually have no idea how it was fixed as I've spent hours trying to find a solution to this ridiculously overly-complicated system. I still can't receive SMS as now I am being told in SMS Campaign that I need to put in the OTP number that they texted to me in order go forward expect that I can't receive texts on my Zoom phone yet...I have no idea how to proceed beyond this and am about to give up and go elsewhere...I can't believe that there is no phone help...

hi @sgMay 

 

now that you have you have your phone number working, you should be able to receive sms/mms sent to your phone number.  try sending a text message from your cell phone to your zoom phone.

 

i do not a campaign set up but i can receive receive text messages.  if this does not work for you, i suggest opening a support ticket.
