Can't change Zoom background back to "none."

I set my zoom background to a solid color (purple) and now I cannot change it back to "none." I can't even find the way I set it to purple in the first place. I only have the option to choose an image, none or blurred. When I choose an image it does update my background but if I go back to "none" it goes back to the purple. I've updated and restarted, deleted the app and re-downloaded.

Any suggestions would be so appreciated.

Were you able to figure out how to change the background? My background is a picture of one of my cats laying on her back. She looks like she's doing crunches. It's pretty hilarious but not when you're having a zoom meeting with your child's teacher, counselor, and 2 other schoolstaff members. I've tried changing it and wasn't able to. I just apologized in advance and turned on my camera.

Unfortunately, no. I have accepted that this will be my background, I've had a few people look at it and no one can figure it out. Would love a solution to this and cannot get a response from Zoom since I'm on a free account.

I have the same problem but in pink. If someone can figure this out let us know. Thanks

I wish I could post the picture of my background. It's also the background for my Google Meet. I've tried changing it there by deleting background but it does nothing. I can't take a professional call, with my cat laying on her back sprawled out, as my background.

Hi, I may have discovderd the answer! When I open a sample zoom meeting up, I see in the Mac menu bar a small green box with a camera icon on it. I clicked it and it opened a drop down which has an option "background". I opened that and clicked the white square and the pink background turned back to no background. Hope this works for you. Peter
